These cold (colder than last year??) short days have meant more time on t'internet scanning for monkey porn..One of my recent finds have been blogs, I remember people talking about them a few years back but I think I've just cottoned on..
There's always been something appealing to me about the lives of surf photogs; they bounce around the world chasing swells with a bunch of surfers, turn the sport into art (if they're good) and then hop on a plane to somewhere else with a good few parties throw in between..all expenses paid of course. At least that's the image I used to have..the reality is more to do with days spent waiting in airport terminals, maxing out as many credit cards as you can and living like a space gypsy!
But these ol' fringe dwellers are out there taking a lot in and it's super inspiring to read what they've been up to. Mickey Smith and Sharpy are two of the UK's finest and both have blogs on their sites:
